We have been living on this beautiful island for about a year now. Edward wanted to raise Nessie somewhere sunny and beautiful.  We are blessed to have the rest of our family living in close proximity to us.  When my father learned of our moving he decided that he didn’t want to ever be apart from us and made the move from our gloomy, hometown to this sunny paradise. We will probably live here for the next five years or so. My mom and step dad have been down once and loved it, but we’ll see how that works out for us in the future.

Nessie

My daughter is growing up more and more each day.  I can’t even begin to describe how much I love her and how proud I am to be her mother. She has recently begun learning to play the piano with her father. He is a terrific pianist and has composed a few songs that he tells me were inspired by me and Nessie. She has really taken to the piano and has taken it upon herself to try and teach her best friend, Jacob.  She thinks he needs to be exposed to more culture. This is coming from a five year old girl. My heart smiles.

First Blog

I’ve had a little extra time and a lot of new experiences so I thought that I would make the best out of my time and start a blog.  I recently married the love of my life, Edward and we have an amazing daughter, Renesmee  (we call her Nessie). Life has been anything but ordinary for our little family.  We have had our share of drama and a string of disasters, but now everything seems to be perfect and the way I always pictured it to be.  This blog will be filled with short stories of my life and general things that interest me.
